PENDEKATAN INOVATIF UNTUK MEMPERSIAPKAN SISWA MENGHADAPI DUNIA KERJA DALAM KURIKULUM BERBASIS KETERAMPILAN AN INNOVATIVE APPROACH TO PREPARING STUDENTS FOR THE WORLD OF WORK IN A SKILLS-BASED CURRICULUM

Tingginya pengangguran terdidik menunjukkan masih kuatnya kesenjangan antara kompetensi lulusan dan tuntutan dunia kerja. Kurikulum berbasis keterampilan (skills-based curriculum) dipandang sebagai salah satu strategi kunci untuk menjembatani kesenjangan tersebut karena menekankan pengembangan kemampuan praktis sekaligus soft skills yang relevan dengan era Revolusi Industri 4.0 dan Masyarakat 5.0. Artikel ini membahas pendekatan-pendekatan inovatif seperti Work‑Integrated Learning (WIL), Work-Based Learning (WBL), Teaching Factory, Project‑Based Learning (PjBL), Innovation‑Based Instruction (IBI), serta integrasi teknologi digital dalam kerangka kurikulum berbasis keterampilan, dan menganalisis kontribusinya terhadap kesiapan kerja siswa. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi literatur kualitatif-deskriptif terhadap berbagai penelitian terkini di pendidikan vokasi dan pendidikan menengah. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan-pendekatan tersebut secara konsisten meningkatkan keterampilan teknis, soft skills (komunikasi, kerja tim, pemecahan masalah), serta indikator employability lainnya. Namun, implementasi masih menghadapi tantangan berupa keterbatasan infrastruktur, kesiapan guru, lemahnya integrasi dengan industri, dan sistem evaluasi yang belum sepenuhnya kompetensi‑based. Artikel ini merekomendasikan penguatan kolaborasi sekolah–industri–pemerintah, redesign kurikulum berbasis outcome, peningkatan kapasitas guru, dan integrasi sistemik pembelajaran berbasis kerja untuk mengoptimalkan peran kurikulum berbasis keterampilan dalam mempersiapkan siswa memasuki dunia kerjaReferences
