Abstract

The integration of information technology (IT) in education and training management is a key factor in improving the quality of school principals at BKPSDM Cianjur. This study aims to evaluate the role of information technology in the management of the Education and Training Center at BKPSDM Cianjur and its impact on the quality of school principals. This research utilized a qualitative method in two stages: structured and unstructured interviews. The respondents included employees of BKPSDM and school principals in Cianjur. Findings indicate that information technology plays a crucial role in enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of administration and training. The use of e-learning and management information systems has improved access to and quality of training materials, as well as facilitated data-driven decision-making. The development of IT infrastructure supports a dynamic and interactive learning environment. In conclusion, information technology plays a significant role in improving the quality of school principals at BKPSDM Cianjur through the enhancement of learning processes and education administration. The integration of IT in education and training management contributes to the improvement of school principals' quality by providing necessary tools and resources for education and professional development. Challenges such as limited funding and quality human resources, as well as resistance to change, are the obstacles that need to be addressed.
