Abstract

Many cases of gastritis suffer apart from being caused by lifestyle and stress, also caused by ignorance and the tendency to underestimate gastritis. Treatment of gastritis can be done pharmacologically and non-pharmacologically. Non-pharmacological treatment is carried out as an effort to reduce blood pressure without drug dependence, one of which is in the form of massage therapy. The aim of this study was to determine and analyze the management of massage therapy for clients with gastritis at the Mulia Bakti Karang Rejo Medical Home, Langkat Regency. The research sample was gastritis sufferers at the Mulia Bakti Karang Rejo Medical Home, Langkat Regency, totaling 62 people. Quantitative research method with a cross-sectional approach. Based on hypothesis testing, it can be concluded that management of massage therapy for clients with gastritis at the Mulia Bakti Karang Rejo treatment house, Langkat Regency, with p-value 0.047 < 0.05. From the research results, it is expected to be able to take steps that affect gastritis sufferers, especially by using massage therapy.
