As industrial environments become increasingly digitalized and interconnected, students are required not only to master technical skills but also to demonstrate disciplined, efficient, standardized, and socially responsible work behaviors. This research applies literature-based analysis supported by limited observations to evaluate how the implementation of 5S fosters work habits, systematic thinking, and collective awareness of academic spaces. The findings indicate that 5S practices promote sustainable work order and ethical conduct, contributing significantly to the development of student professionalism and civic responsibility. FOMO muncul sebagai akibat dari penggunaan media sosial yang berlebihan dan dapat memengaruhi konsentrasi belajar, kondisi emosional, serta hubungan sosial siswa. Guru PPKn memegang peran penting dalam membimbing siswa menghadapi fenomena ini melalui penguatan nilai-nilai Pancasila dan pengembangan keterampilan bernalar kritis. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa guru berperan sebagai pendidik nilai, fasilitator literasi digital, pembimbing karakter, dan pengarah etika digital. Melalui strategi pembelajaran seperti diskusi, refleksi, studi kasus, serta analisis informasi, guru membantu siswa memahami dampak FOMO dan melatih kemampuan mereka untuk berpikir rasional serta selektif terhadap informasi digital. Upaya tersebut terbukti efektif dalam membangun perilaku digital yang sehat dan mendorong siswa agar tidak mudah terpengaruh oleh tekanan sosial media.<br><br></p> <p><strong><em>ABSTRACT</em></strong></p> <p>This study aims to explain the role of Civic Education (PPKn) teachers in preventing Fear of Missing Out (FOMO) syndrome among students at SMAN 1 Kutambaru. FOMO emerges as a psychological condition caused by excessive social media use, which affects students’ concentration, emotional stability, and social interactions. Civic Education teachers hold a strategic role in guiding students to face this issue through the reinforcement of Pancasila values and the development of critical thinking skills. The findings show that teachers act as value educators, digital literacy facilitators, character mentors, and ethical digital behavior guides. Through learning strategies such as discussions, reflections, case studies, and information analysis, teachers help students understand the impacts of FOMO and train them to think rationally and selectively toward digital content.
