About the Journal

Jurnal Ilmiah Serunai Bahasa Indonesia (JSBSI) is a peer-reviewed scientific journal published twice a year in March and October by STKIP Budidaya Binjai, North Sumatra, Indonesia, focusing on research and academic studies in the field of Indonesian Language and Literature Education. The journal serves as a dedicated platform for researchers and lecturers to disseminate original scientific articles covering topics such as Indonesian linguistics, literature, language learning, reading and writing skills, and language education.

This journal provides immediate open access to all published content under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0), and has been accredited at Sinta 6 by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia. It is indexed in Google Scholar, Garuda, BRIN, Sinta, OneSearch, Dimensions, PKP Index, Turnitin, Crossref, Plagiarism Checker X, and Mendeley. All personal data submitted to this journal is used exclusively for journal purposes and will not be shared with any third party. Long-term digital preservation of published content is ensured through the PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN) in accordance with LOCKSS and CLOCKSS archiving standards.
