This study aims to determine the process and determine the learning outcomes of using the TikTok application in learning to write contemporary poetry for class X students of the OTKP Department of Taruna Bngsa Sawit Seberang Vocational School. The research method used in this study is qualitative. Data collection techniques in this study are observation, interviews, documentation, and assignment tests. The assessment in this test emphasizes aspects of the suitability of the title to the content of the poem, the use of poetic diction, the author's imagery, the tone and atmosphere of the poem, the message of the poem. The results show that class X students of the OTKP Department of Taruna Bangsa Sawit Seberang Vocational School get an average score reaching the Minimum Completion Minimum (KKM). The KKM for the assignment of writing poetry texts is 70, in writing poetry texts through the use of TikTok account videos Kamupuisi is included in the very good category. This can be seen from the results of the study in the analysis of student data. The results reached 23 students got scores above the Minimum Completion Minimum (KKM), while 2 students did not reach the Minimum Completion Minimum (KKM). Thus, it can be proven that the use of TikTok video media can be applied in learning to write contemporary poetry for class X students of the OTKP Department of Taruna Bangsa Sawit Seberang Vocational School in the 2024-2025 Academic Year.References
